Dr. Min Ye Paing Hein is the Executive Director of Myanmar Development Institute, the Union of Myanmar. He received his M.A. and Ph.D. in the University of Wisconsin, Madison, in the fields of Applied Economics and Sociology/Economics respectively. He is also a member of Development Assistance Coordination Unit in the Government of Myanmar. Before his current position, he served in the World Bank for years and has taught at different Universities and conducted many training courses for the Myanmar government.
