Professor Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Dr. Noor Azlan Ghazali is the Vice-Chancellor of the Universiti Kebangsaan (National University) Malaysia. He advises the Malaysian government on economic development in his capacity as a member of the Special Economic Committee, head of the Economics and Finance Cluster of the National Council of Professors, and a member of the National Development and Planning Council. He is also a member of the Monetary-Policy Committee of the Bank Negara Malaysia (Central Bank of Malaysia) that sets the benchmark interest rate. Professor Noor Azlan holds a Master of Public Administration degree from Harvard University, and an MBA in Finance and a PhD in Economics from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, USA.
